I follow Louise on social media and also watch her YouTube Channel so was excited to read her book. It didn't disappoint. I am not a single mother but as with life in general everything is not always rosy and sometimes you just struggle. Robin's struggle with The Emptiness and her ongoing perception of herself as a woman and a mother was put across very well in Louise's writing.
I enjoyed the style the book was written in and while it was fictional you could definitely feel Louise's personality and hear her voice in the character of Robin. I imagine that there were some personal experiences pulled on while writing this book.
An enjoyable read and will definately be reading the 2nd and soon to be published 3rd book in the Wilde series.
