This is the first book in the Wilde series that tells the story of single mother Robin and her daughter.

Robin is a make up artist, who loves her daughter and her job but feels the loneliness of not having a partner to share life with and is finding things tough.

Easy to read with a refreshing out look on single parenthood, Louise Pentland has written an addictive novel.

The feelings of her characters are portrayed so well, Robin is completely relatable and the storyline realistic.

The relationship between Robin and her daughter is lovely and makes for a comforting read amongst the sadder moments.
Aunt Kath is brilliant and adds a little fun to the book.

Fun, humourous but with some more serious themes.
