I was not sure if I would enjoy this book as previously I have stuck with only YA books but I decided to venture into the world of adult or NA books.
I LOVED this book, it was fun, it was heartening, it was emotional and it was hilarious. Louise Pentland is a surprisingly brilliant author and I adored her debut novel.
The MC was perfectly flawed in the same way as many young women are. She was struggling to find a steady relationship kinda guy, she was feeling dependent on other family members and basically felt like her life was going down the pan.
I really enjoyed reading about the main characters journey as she discovered who she was and what she wanted in life. Her relationship with her daughter was beautiful and as a teacher I thoroughly enjoyed any school scenes. A brilliant debut novel.
