I have to admit, I didn’t really enjoy this book, not because it’s bad but it’s just not my cup of tea. It is a good read if you’re looking for an easy read to keep you occupied, a holiday read or to help get out of a book slump but if you like something with a little more depth maybe choose something a bit different.
It has funny aspects, speaks truthfully about the loneliness that comes with motherhood and trying to regain some independence.
Overall I’m going to give this 2.5 stars, as I said, not because it’s bad or badly written but just because I personally didn’t really enjoy it. I think it’s more of a summer holiday read, or to help get you out of a book slump, I’m more interested in books with a little more depth.
