Initially sceptical of this text, I approached with caution, very much aware of Pentland's role as "YouTube Sensation", however I was pleasantly surprised. I found that all characters within the text were interesting, each having their own intriguing backstory, particularly the protagonist Robin Wilde. Whether we admit it or not, I think that there is a piece of Robin Wilde inside all of us, and it is precisely this which makes the novel so gripping. The book certainly is a page-turner, I found myself intrigued as to where the story would go, and whether Wilde would find her happily-ever-after that she deserved. I think this text is something that Louise Pentland should be proud of, particularly as this is her first venture into the world of fiction. I wait in anticipation for the next instalment, and look forward to seeing what will become of Robin Wilde.
