This book follows the story of Robin, a single Mum who battles "the emptiness" to start building the life she wants. As a single parent Robin worries about whether she is a good mum to her little girl. She thinks she would be happier with a man in her life, and in an attempt to change things she starts internet dating. However as the book progresses Robin begins to gain more confidence in herself and her achievements, and comes to realise she doesn't need a man. Instead she focuses on herself, her daughter and her career (although if romance comes along she's not going to say no!). I found her character relatable - her life isn't always perfect and she comes to realise that's ok. The writing was very funny and I really enjoyed this book. I'm looking forward to reading more of Robin's adventures in future
