What a great start to a book. It's wonderfully written with just the right amount of humour to make what is a very difficult subject, easier to digest. The doodles break up the text nicely without affecting readability. I especially liked the addition of the batpig cartoon, it is a very good way of helping the reader to understand how a young child would cope with this situation.
