I Have throughly enjoyed the first look of Wink by Rob Harrell.
The book is based on the authors own experience of his own eye cancer.
It is written from the point of Ross a 7th grader who is beginning his treatment for eye cancer.
The book uses a beautiful humor that pulls you into Ross's story, making a complicated illness more understandable, I feel there is alot more to learn.
The book is also contains wonderful cartoons that keep you interested.. I want to find out BatPigs story just as much as the main characters.
