'Write about what you know' is something I keep hearing crop up and lately having read a couple of books by authors who have that first hand experience/insight into what their story is about, I've really felt it come through in the writing. I believe this will be the case with 'Wink' if the first impression is to go by. Heartfelt, powerful reading but with humour laced through.
