What a lovely start to what will no doubt be a gutwrenchingly sad book. Written from the perspective of a young boy who is going through cancer treatment. Very similar to books by Louis Sachar or to the book Wonder, seems like a fairly authentic narrative voice (though some references seem a little dated).
