The book caught my attention straight away after reading the cover.
The journey of fight with the rare cancer is very close to my personal life (I lost my dad 6 months from diagnosis of acute leukemia not long time ago). I also suffer from eye disease (I'm lucky enough to not being diagnosed with cancer though) which gives me ups and downs all the time since more than 30 years.
The fact that it's based on real life experience adds more credibility to the book. It's going to be emotional to read this book for me but I'd love to see how the family is dealing with this challenge and what emotions it involves.
