I have a vested interest in this book as a children's nurse. This is the kind of YA literature that needs to be out there, representing kids and young people navigating the most difficult of journeys. I loved the amusing narrative, sarcasm and perspective in the extract. The illustrations were a perfect addition I cannot wait to read more from this book.
