This book reminded me of Wonder, a boy, Ross, with a facial deformity. I found it a bit slow to read, but the comics throughout kept up the entertainment factor. The characters were well developed and you felt like you got to know him as the story progressed. It follows the story of a boy who is receiving cancer treatment and the issues he experiences along the way, mainly his challenges at school. It is not a long read and I think younger readers would appreciate it more. It would be especially helpful for children that are having problems at school because they have something that makes them stand out or they are a bit different to the other children. It shows how someone can be successful in the end.
