An amazing story about a young boy named Ross dealing with normal boyish stuff but on top of that cancer. This was such an amazing story, based off the authors own cancer in 2005. I loved that Ross found music as a way to cope and made friends during this. I fell in love with Frank in the first scene! There's a quote on the back of the book that says "This book is proof that laughter is the best form of medicine" which really sums up this book, at times I was laughing but then at times it was so painful to see Ross bottle up all of his emotions, at such a young age. This book also sheds light on how other individuals in Ross' life felt and felt with emotionally. This was such an emotional and breathtaking book. A story about surviving but also living.
