I loved this book, with Ross,the young boy and the main character in the book being diagnosed with cancer I thought I would be pulling on my heartstrings a lot but it wasn’t like that at all.
Ross wakes up one morning with a big swelling near his eye, his father put an ice pack on it to see if it went down during the day, it did but was back again then next morning.
His father takes him to the doctor as he was really worried about it. Doctor takes some test and said he will call when they have the results. They are going to go for a takeaway but before they can order the father’s phone goes, the doctor wants to see them straight away, obviously the test had shown something that wasn’t good.
The book goes through the highs and lows of Ross’s life, even his best friend Abby is moving away . There is a cartoon every few pages that have been drawn really well.
