⭐⭐⭐⭐💫 - I love a book that can make you laugh, while really grabbing you, making you think and with a tear or two thrown in. Wink follows Ross through his cancer treatment, navigating school, friendship & all the crap life is throwing at him. It touches on difficult, sensitive topics but with a lightness that suits its younger target audience, this is aided by cartoons of batpig and his adventures. I'd recommend this book to anyone struggling with a similar situation or anyone looking for a good read. Rob Harrell uses his personal experience with cancer to create a book which addresses a serious, scary and often completely overwhelming situation making it approachable, relatable and entertaining.
