I really liked this book because it made me realise how much inner strength we all possess, when we need to use it most. Truly inspiring. Even though the author and cancer victim was a grown man, he told a story of humour, bravery and insight. Who could not fall in love with Ross. He had already suffered the loss of his mum and now he had to go through it as well. His dad was still suffering from the loss of his wife and now he feels he could lose his son. The comic strips helped Ross deal with the trauma of it all. The proton treatment was well written and I felt I was almost under the beam with Ross. An illness no child should have to go through, but an illness dealt with with hope and dignity. I would recommend this book to any age group.
