I love the way this book is being told from Ross’s point of view and is tackling an illness in particular a cancer we don’t hear too much about and the perception of this for a teenage boy. The writing style is great and works really well alongside the comic strips and pictures dotted through out which add a lightness to the book which a story like this needs. Ross is a very likeable character and my heart aches for all involved.
Although this book could be aimed at a younger audience than myself, it is still something I would read and most certainly thoroughly enjoy. The first peak of the book has definitely made me feel as though I would want to read more and see how things turned out for Ross.
