What a lovely little book this is! Firstly the cover is so bright and appealing it instantly attracts you. It follows a young boy ,Ross, through his diagnosis of cancer and radiotherapy whilst still attending school and showing up for life. Along the way Ross learns a new skill, makes some new and important friendships, and begins to discover what really matters in life. The book is full of illustrations and mini comic strips which are just wonderful and add an extra dimension to the story.
Whilst obviously this book covers sad topics and shows the bad bits it also shows the true beauty of friendships, love and laughter. It’s such a beautiful read and I would happily recommend this book to anyone.
