Having loved The Poet X by Elizabeth Acevedo, I am really interested to see what she can do with a prose novel. I think that the concept here is really unique and Emoni sounds like a protagonist that you can get behind. The focus on culinary delights will be fab for anyone who loves food and overall, this just sounds like a really heart warming story.
