The illustrated cover was incredibly appealing to me, and seemed to give a good indication of that the book is about, making me more intrigued to learn more. I also really liked the title, which sounds very poetic. The theme of cooking is one I haven’t explored much in my reading, but I would be very excited to discover how this author encapsulates food with words, as it plays to the senses and may make for an interesting read.
