Firstly I absolutely love this cover, I would definitely be drawn to it in a shop. I recently read ‘The hate U give’ by Angie Thomas, which was a 5 star read, and this gives similar vibes. Having been raised by my grandmother and having a daughter of my own I am excited to read this one.
I like the authors writing style, I just know I’ll fall in love with the characters, especially Emoni, I love a strong female lead. Overall it’s an interesting start and leaves me wanting more.....
