I’ve been eagerly awaiting the release of this book since it was announced, having read and loved The Poet X by the same author last year. Whilst her previous book was written in prose, I am loving the narrative writing style of this one. Acevedo has a unique voice that I would love to hear more from.
I also love the visual style of this book. The cover is beautiful (probably one of my favourites of the year) and I love the use of recipes and the illustrated chapter headings.
I can’t wait to read the whole thing.
