I've been desperate to read this book for a long time now, and that feeling has only grown by reading this extract. The pages are so cute, with the illustrations and the thrown in recipes to link to the theme of the novel, and I already feel like I know Emoni really well. I love her character's voice and I need to hear more about Babygirl!
