From the cover, and from even reading the first look, I can tell this book has so much personality! Reading it made me so happy, and just eager to continue. There has been so much hype surrounding this book, and from the first few pages I can see why! Emoni already proves to be the beautiful and strong female lead she has been likened to, I can see that she will be a character that will stay with me for a long time! And I am in love with the concept, when do you ever hear of a YA that details teen pregnancy, single motherhood and food?! Amazing. I loved reading the first few pages and adored the written style- it flowed brilliantly, I can just tell this will be a favourite of all time for me!
