I really liked this book. it was a quick read but the characters introduced were well-developed so as a reader I wanted to find out more about them.
We are introduced to Emoni, a high school mum, and her two-year old daughter Emma aka Babygirl. Babygirl is being raised by the housekeeper/home help (for want of a better word) 'Buela and Emoni has been asked to get more involved.
It would be interesting to learn Emoni's story, and 'Buela's as it sounds like they may have led interesting lives to get to the point where they are.
