The cover of this book is delicious. There isn't enough diversity in YA lit, so when I saw this was the book of the week - I couldn't WAIT to read the first impression. The voice of the main character is so authentic, that I expect the rest of the book will also be just as strong: an authentic reflection of what it is to be a teen mother from a particular community. I love the inclusion of Spanish.
