I found myself instantly drawn to Emoni’s character in this and she very quickly felt like an old friend. Usually I’m quick to abandon a book if I’m not drawn into the story right away but this book intrigued me and I really wanted to find out more, like will tyronne step up to the plate, will Emoni live out her dreams? I love the quirky use of recipes too! Perfect!!
