my heart melted when i read this book. it completely lived up to the hype for me. i loved everything about this book: the characters, the plot, the recipes. everything was written so well and so beautifully. the cover is so stunning!!! the artist should be praised.
this book is about a teen mum, going through the struggles in life including racial issues, gender issues and boy issues. i think this book was a great way of highlighting real life problems while creating butterflies in the tummy and feel-good emotions. it was just so adorable I cant evennnnnnn.
i need to read more from Elizabeth the author because her books are so heartwarming and bring real issues to light. i know both of her other books have had fantastic reviews so I need to go read those too. i always think about this book and if a book can make you do that then it must be good.
