I FLEW through the first look. It was extremely beautiful and I love everything about this book. The cover is stunning, the writing style was amazing, the story was so well thought of and I fell in love with Emoni. The writing style was so easy to read while having such a meaningful message and I really enjoyed the aspect of culinary in a book. It's new and fresh, I've never read anything with this plotline. The first person narration was great as we get to see how Emoni feels and how she is struggling to juggle all the responsibilities put onto her. It's really nice to see teenage pregnancy in a book especially YA, we actually get to see the aftermath of having a baby and not just the before or during. I would really like to get to know what happens to Emoni and how the rest of this book goes. She's really trying her best to be able to give her daughter the best life possible which is extremely beautiful and a great life lesson to other teen mums.
