This was my first book to read and review and like to say it's a brilliant read. The book is about a school girl (Emoni) aged 17 who is trying to raise a daughter (Emma) and lives with her grandmother Buela.
Emoni's dream is to become a chef but tries not to get distracted by the attention of the new boy Malachi. Emoni makes some tasty dishes with the ingredients she has and produces some mouthwatering dishes.
There were some sentences and words that were in Spanish but it would of been fantastic to know what they interpreted as in English without trying to guess what was written, but overall a superb book to read that you don't want to put down.
I can't wait to read other books and give my reviews
