Hello! Just from reading the preview of this book I really liked it and thought it was a really good/interesting. I initially looked into getting this book because the cover was so beautiful! I definitely judged this book by the cover (and I am glad I did), the illustration is just lovely...sorry I'll get back to the book now. This book is modern and fresh, with a cute story. Perfect to read when your curling up on the sofa on a cold, winter's night (with a hot chocolate of course). It follows the story of Emoni who is a 17 year old. She is working out how to care for her young daughter and help support her Abuela. She wants to cook and it is the thing she enjoys the most. All her dishes sound amazing and I wish I could try them all. Overall, this book is so enticing and I would highly recommend.
