I really loved the book cover and how unique it was to other books. I especially loved the chapter names and how unique these were to the storyline. I also loved the length of the chapters. Short chapters always keep me more engaged.
I found this read to have a really unique storyline which I loved. I loved that there was a lot going on with Emoni and the different people in her life but it all worked well together and did not seem overpowering at any time. I loved Emoni and her grandmothers relationship, it was so special. I loved every character in this book, I even warmed to Tyrone at the end!!
I loved Emoni's determination and how determined she was to succeed in her goals and dreams. I loved her passion and she is just a really good character to be reading about.
Malachi was also such a sweetheart. I rooted for Emoni and Malachi throughout the whole book. We all need a Malachi in our life.
