It didn't really sound like something I would be reading but I did give it a try. The cover was the thing that really made me click on this book, it looked great and interesting but when I started reading the blurb it didn't really entice me. This story is about a seventeen-year-old who got pregnant in freshman year but this book is set in Emoni's senior year. I like the main character, I thought she was sensitive and ambitious. Her passion is cooking and she once dreamed of attending culinary school to improve her skills in the kitchen. She struggles to feel worthy of love. I love the delicious descriptions of the food she makes. I don't really read this genre of books but I liked this book so I think I'm going to read more of this author's books.
