I adored this book. I was honestly so stressed and I began to read this and it was so light and refreshing and got to me on a deep level.
I really felt so much for this story, it didn't even have to try hard and just flowed perfectly.
Emoni was a lovely character. What I loved most about her was that she was unapologetic. She knew what her passion was in life and she knew each and every one of her responsibilities. Her love and strength for her daughter Emma was beautiful to see and you saw her grow more and more into a dedicated mother and person. She had her priorities straight.
And Malachi was just so easy-going and overall lovely. Seriously all the characters where so great and I'd actually love to see more of Emoni and what her future has in store for her.
