Wow! What a start. This book gripped me within the first paragraph. The author throws you right into the intense action, making you ask questions along the way which keeps you wanting more and constantly building suspense right from the beginning as the story builds. It’s interesting to know of a terrible thing that has happened without knowing how or why, without knowing more about the character or how they could have possibly come to be involved in such a situation. Seemingly normal character in a seemingly abnormal situation, how could it be? The author gives you some great point views flipping from intriguing characters keeping the suspense as you develop more questions, ideas and suspicions. As you follow Sara with the police figuring out who could have brutally murdered her quite introverted kind husband, you start to see how strong her character is. Although women still very much in love, she is strong and full of self-respect. But you get the idea that they will be much more turmoil for this character and I'm wondering about what she'll do next. I’m incredibly intrigued to find out more about these characters and how the gripping story continues. It doesn’t make me want to find out what happens, it makes me NEED too. I’m hooked.
