I really want to read this book! Right from the cover I am hooked.
Sara Prior had been to her parents in Copenhagen, her husband, Matthew had walked out and was now living on his own but she was going to get him back.
While unpacking her clothes she listens to the phone messages, first two were junk but the last one was from Matthew and he sounded terrified. She checked the time, the message had been left 4 hours before, she keeps ringing him but getting no reply.
She drives to his place breaking all speed limits, gets there, knocks the door, no answer, looks through the letterbox, place seems empty. She goes wrong the back and the door is open, she goes in and the place is wrecked, after looking around upstairs she finds him, naked and nailed to the floor and very dead.
DS Cody goes to the house to investigate but with problems of his own how far will he get?
