Nothing here really grabbed me and made me eager to keep reading if I am being honest. From the First Impression I couldn't really see anything notably different that makes this novel stand out within it's genre. It just felt like a litany of events to get the book started and nothing to really draw me, as a reader, in to either a character or a scenario. That said there is a moderately intriguing premise and it does start to "pick up" a little towards the end of the First Impression.
