I haven’t read any of David Jackson’s books beforehand, but perhaps having read the first three in the series would help make things a little clearer.
Saying that, the First Impression has left me with lots of questions and wanting to read more!
The murder is quite a shocking way to go - who would do that to Matthew? The message he left on the answerphone about Victoria and Albert - what does that mean? And who is this other man Sara mentions?!
Whilst not an overly attention grabbing start to a book, I am still left wanting to read more and find out what happened to Matthew and what exactly Sara’s involvement is in it all...
