This was a face pasted and exciting thriller that was difficult to put down or to take your mind off. Although the ending of the storyline was somewhat to be predicted, it didn't deter from the shocks, twists and at times, somewhat disturbing storyline.
The main character, Cody, was relatable and ready to do exactly what your imagination expected him to do next - as he became more exhausted and delirious as the book went on, you could feel that in the way it was written and what you were told.
The writing style is fast paced and easy to follow, the short and sharp chapters really enhance the urgency you feel throughout the novel and makes you want to continue to read, right through the night... which wasn't ideal when your imagination is vivid and you're expecting to see clowns in every corner of your house!
