AMAZING! Thrilling and Creepy! Gripped me from start to finish! I couldn't put it down!
This book had me gripped from the very first page to the last! There wasn’t one second of the book where I lost interest at all, in fact, I couldn't put it down! Fast-paced, Thrilling and Creepy! The author throws you right into the intense action from the begging, making you ask questions along the way which keeps you wanting more and constantly building suspense right from the beginning as the story builds. It’s interesting to know of a terrible thing that has happened without knowing how or why, without knowing more about the character or how they could have possibly come to be involved in such a situation. Seemingly normal character in a seemingly abnormal situation, how could it be?
This story started with the development of one main character, Sara Prior, whose strong will and stubbornness lands her in some very dangerous situations while trying to find justice for her husband's brutal murder, an introverted kind man. She works on her own to solve the case behind the police back, but it’s nothing she can’t handle. She’s an incredibly strong and admirable female character that I love.
Working with the police a secondary main character starts to develop, Cody, a police officer dealing with trauma from past brutal cases. His nightmares from the past are still very much present in the day when they start to haunt him, in more ways than one. He is also on his own outlawed search for justice for the past. You really empathise with Cody, Who is also a very strong-willed character whose morals are tested to the limit. Revenge or Morals?
The author writes from each person's perspective flipping from character to character allowing you to truly bond and understands each character in a short amount of time keeping the strong full of interest and excitement.
The author has done an incredible job of creating a non-stop thrill of a novel that kept me hooked and reading more. This book is a real page-turner! I highly recommend this book to everyone!
