I've not read any books by David Jackson before, but was not disappointed.
Whilst 'Your Deepest Fears' was a fourth book in a series, having not read the previous books I didn't feel like this affected my enjoyment of reading this book. You had the continued story of Detective Sergeant Cody, but with enough detail of his past/ongoing story, not to effect this book although I hadn't read earlier books in the series; then you had the story of Sara and Mathew Prior. I loved the determination of Sara's character, to catch Matthews killing, unexpected.
This book grips you from the first chapter, definitely a book that's difficult to put down, would definitely read more books by this author. I look forward to reading David's next book.
