I have just finished this book and very much enjoyed it. A fantastic crime fiction which re-visits the clowns who haunt DS Cody's every waking moment. The book starts with a brutal murder which doesn't give many leads as to the murderer and the murder victim was a very quiet, unsociable person. A message is left by the victim on the answer machine of his estranged wife, Sara, the message doesn't mean anything to her as it is so cryptic. Eventually Sara starts to look for clues to avenge her Husbands murder and puts her own skills to good use to find the man responsible. Meanwhile DS Cody is trying to find the men dressed as clowns who not only tortured him but also murdered his colleague, Cody keeps getting messages from the man responsible, he has to make decisions which will save some but not others,
