The cover suggested it was a light-hearted, chick-lit (not meant in a derogratory way) kind of story. I liked Hildy, she made me laugh and was someone I could relate to. Paul less so but I feel that he might be one of those designed to be rude/annoying at start so you are surprised (like Hildy will be) when you start to like him. It was fast-paced, easy-to-read and fairly enjoyable as light-hearted escapism.
