For some reason the cover and the blurb didn't grab me immediately but the first few pages certainly did. I do love the idea of two very different people asking each other questions to see if they can form a real connection. The author has done a brilliant job of giving an instant impression of what each of the characters are like. I already love slightly ditsy and cute Hildy and Jeff the psychologist, while being a bit smug was quite funny.
Paul was not instantly likeable but the dialogue and contrast between him and Hildy is hilarious. Definitely one where I'd love to know whether they soften towards each other by the end of the 36 questions (although I suspect the title may be a clue).
