This was a strange one for me - it started off really brilliantly and I was considering giving it a five star rating, but around the halfway point it started to dwindle and become a little repetitive; to the point wherein I detected a pattern and it just seemed so samey-samey. That being said, there were some important things discussed throughout this book which are rare in young adult books so I definitely appreciate it for that!

It wasn't what I expected it to be. It came nowhere near what I wanted it to be, nor what the synopsis played it up to be and I'm extremely disappointed about it. The "36 questions" portion seemed to be really over-extended and seemed to go on, and on, and on... And it just seemed to get a little repetitive after a while in that one character would ask a question, the other would complain about said question and then answer, then the person who asked the question would complain about their answer... And thus the cycle began, and the dynamic of such didn't really change throughout the duration which was a rotten pity! This had a lot of potential based on the frame of the plot, and I think if it had been given more substance then it might've been better.

Unarguably, some of the issues discussed throughout this one are necessary, but I don't think they fit well enough...

Will continue adding to this review.
