The characters Bob and Betty aka Paul and Hildy have different reasons for starting this social research program, different backgrounds and different mindsets, both in need of some direction in their lives. They have the usual ups and downs and ... spoiler alert ... find their direction in the end.

As a reader you’re drawn in and can empathise with both of the main characters. There is an element of mystery which keeps you reading and that is the ‘revelation’ that has disturbed Hildy’s equilibrium.

The story was easy to read, the writing style was not one I’m used to - mixing in mobile texts and computer emails - however it moved the story on at a good pace. The authors vocabulary was pleasing and a little instructive at times which was an unusual twist. Looking forward to reading more of her books.
