This is probably the first book that has received 5 full stars from me so far. Let me start of by saying that I'm not the biggest fan when it comes to romance, but this was just..... amazing!
I don't want to get into too much depth about the plotline, but, basically: An 18 year old girl named Hilary (Hildy) joins a psychological experiment to see if its possible to fall in love with another person by answering 36 questions. Paul, also joins the experiment and they are paired together. Then, it just goes on and you get to see their journey and 'friendship' developing.
I loved the writing style as it was very different. The book was kind of set out like a play/script, which is very different from the original layout. However, this was actually really clever and unusual.
Next thing is humour. Lots and lots of sarcasm and good humour - which is definitely a bonus when it comes to reading romance books.
Overall, this book was very likeable and I got hooked up immediately. I also loved how Hildy had a relatable personality type; awkward, sweet, pure, etc.
I'd definitely recommend this to younger readers (teens) and I'll probably end up buying more books by Vicki Grant.
