I know I say this a lot but I absolutely loved this book.

I loved the whole concept of the book and how the author kept alternating between what was going on in the character Hildy’s life and the messages between her and Paul. I really liked how she incorporated the messages and how they were laid out as well as the way she selected each question. I feel like it made it so simple to look at.

I honestly didn’t want to put this book down and I probably wouldn’t have if I didn’t need to go to work. It really drew me in, especially how different the characters were and the secrets behind the questions they were answering which I’m glad they were finally really honest about.

I really liked how unexpected the book was. Like it shouldn’t work well but it really did and wasn’t at all cliche or cringy.

But I think my favourite part was the last chapter. It was in the point of view of an onlooker and we got to see those two characters, Hildy and Paul from someone else’s eyes and it was really nice how we just saw them two together instead of all their thinking in the moment.
