This story is so cute... My heart is going to burst!
Before reading the synopsis, I thought: This book could honestly be about some random people playing a game like 21 questions and then life goes on and they fall in love yada, yada, yada....
And then I read the synopsis...
CAN LOVE BE ENGINEERED????
I need to read the rest of this book to find out but right off the bat you already see the personalities of Hildy and Paul seeping through the words of the pages. AND I love how Grant told us how to pronounce Hildy's name (unlike some other, who leave us guessing and then embarrass us when we find out we've actually been pronouncing it wrong the entire time). All in All, a great first impression. The concept is original and unique, asking questions that even we, the readers, haven't asked ourselves before and revealing more about ourselves as Hildy and Paul do.
And the little sketches annotating the book! Chef's kiss to complete such a brilliant concept of a relatable book.
Can't wait to find out if love can be engineered!
